NE Wisconsin Art Update

Main Street Art Works (MSAW), Hilbert, is a co-op of eight artists who share studio and gallery space in an old hardware store. Going into its fourth year, the group has stabilized into a supportive community that gives mutural support and encouragement to keep producing their best work and to exhibit widely in other venues.
This year the artists each chose a month to put forth a solo show. WP&S members associated with MSAW are Bonnie de Arteaga, Pat Filzen, Leah Abrahams and Kate Bradley. Teapot image is a ceramic work by Leslie Tomonatsu that is part of the Tea for Two exhibit.
The ARTgarage, Green Bay, WI is part of a new non-profit arts organization in Northeast Wisconsin, C4 Arts (Cedar Street Cultural Center). C4 Arts is a community-focused cultural center committed to encouraging an appreciation for and participation in the visual, performing, and literary arts, by creating opportunities for education and development to the general public, emerging and established artist, and offering spaces for artists to create and present their works. The ARTgarage space includes a large gallery and studio space for about 10 artists. C4 Arts also organzes art workshops for kids and adults, Artist-on-Board trips, First Saturday Performance night,3rd Thursday Gallery Night and rents its space out for events.
