Sculpture in wood

Jim Liedtke

Der Strassenmusikan
I love sculpting and I love wood, for me a perfect fit. My compositions, while contemporary, are strongly influence by ethnic art, the rich diversity of nature, and the master carvers of Renaissance Europe. I also like to tell stories in my pieces for the viewers’ interest and engagement. I hope the viewer has fun with his or her interpretations.
