9th Annual Mt. Horeb area Spring Art Tour

by Peggy Flora Zalucha - Watermedia
Several of the artists who are participating in the 9th Annual Spring Art Tour* are also members of Wisconsin Visual Artists. Among them are; Tamlyn Akins, Peg Ginsberg, Marjorie King, Sue Medaris, Jane Varda, and Peggy Flora Zalucha. This is a 3-day weekend open-studios event, June 5-7, 2015 (Friday through Sunday from 10am-5pm daily), when visitors will be able to watch these artists at work in their rarely seen studios and shop their wares.
Twenty-three high quality, professional artists from Mount Horeb, Blue Mounds, Black Earth, Verona, Mazomanie and rural areas in between, will be opening their studios and galleries. Their studios vary from small areas in the home to large barns in the countryside and even an old cheese warehouse. Each place is unique to the artist. Donít miss this opportunity to visit Western Dane Countyís finest artists and crafters in their own work spaces.
All are within a fifteen mile radius of downtown Mount Horeb. The range of art media includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, origami, woodwork, ceramics, glass and more. People love to come and enjoy being surrounded by the beautiful vistas, valleys and parks of Western Dane County. Is it any surprise that excellent artists are also drawn to this area?
