The WVA State Board awarded Christine Style with a WVA Lifetime Membership at the April 11th, 2015 meeting. Congratulations! Christine is a member of the WVA NE Chapter, has been active on the WVA State Board for over 15 years and a WVA member for 22 years. She has served as State Board Treasurer, Vice-President, two terms as President, and is currently Vice-President / Acting President. She was the 2009 Wisconsin Artists Biennial Chair and is the current 2016 Biennial Chair. She is a full Professor at UW-Green Bay, where she teaches all levels of printmaking and foundation courses in design and drawing. Through UW-Green Bay, she has lead over ten Studio Art Intensive travel courses to Florence, Italy using the studios at the Santa Reparata International School of Art (santareparata.org). She maintains a studio in Green Bay and has an active exhibition record regionally and nationally. The daughter of Ruth Muehlmeier, also a former WVA president and lifetime
member, she was married to art conservator,
Anton (Tony) Rajer when he passed in November, 2011.
