Villa Terrace Exhibition

Ripe Morning by Beki Borman
The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is hosting an exhibition featuring artists from local Wisconsin Arts Organizations. The exhibition opens Thursday, February 25th and will run through May 8th, 2016 at the Villa Terrace. It will include three different art organizations: the Wisconsin Visual Artists, the Cedarburg Artists Guild and the League of Milwaukee Artists, focusing on their history as an organization as well as highlighting the artists involved. Each organization will occupy one gallery in the museum.
Each gallery will include both floor and wall space and are around 400 sq. ft. each. We are asking artists to drop off/ship the accepted work to the Villa Terrace the week of February 8th (Monday-Friday, 10 am- 5 pm). The museum will be in charge of installing the work, but all 2D work should be equipped with hanging wire. Installation will begin on February 15th.
Villa Terrace will host an opening reception on Thursday, February 25th from 6-8 pm (5:30-6 pm CAVT Members Preview). The artists in the exhibition will receive a complimentary ticket to bring a family member or friend. Each organization will give a short talk about the history of the group and the museum will provide light refreshments and a cash bar.
