WVA Welcomes Our First Ever Executive Director

Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA), established in 1900 to promote, develop and encourage the creative visual arts in Wisconsin, has accomplished its goal of establishing the WVA Endowment earmarked for the contracting of an Executive Director.
Joining us in that capacity is Terry Stanley of Green Bay, WI. Terry Stanley is a professional fine artist, designer and art instructor She was the founding director of Richeson School of Art & Gallery and the Richeson75 International Art Competitions from 2003 until leaving to paint full time in 2015. Terry has been actively involved in numerous national organizations such as the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation, The Portrait Society of America,The Pastel Society of America and Oil Painters of America. She has curated and juried art exhibits and taught workshops in oils and pastels throughout the country.

Christine Style (chair of the WVA Executive Director Search) hosted at her home in Green Bay a meet up for Terry. We began the process of getting to know each other and what works and what doesn’t work as well as it could in WVA and her role as our first paid part-time director. Present were Gary Gresl, Tori Tasch, Rosie Hartmann, Jane Hostetler, and Christine Style.
