Chocolate Kisses
The inspiration for much of my current artwork is owed to the study of Miksang, a form of contemplative photography which seeks to clearly see and to appreciate the vividness of the visual world. My photographs are spontaneous rather than planned and focus on interesting patterns, bright colors and subtle shifts of light. They depict everyday objects viewed from a unique perspective. All are actual photographs, not digitally generated.

Photos of nature are printed on canvas to emphasize texture and depth and are defined by black, wooden floating frames. Abstract images are infused into metal to enhance the quality of luminescence and then permanently mounted on contemporary aluminum floating frames.
