Painting primarily from photographic references poses unique opportunities and challenges. Gain insight into how to use your references  to achieve a desired final result that communicates your unique, inspired vision.
Working from existing and new original landscape photos, learn to maximize the benefits and avoid the pitfalls of this working process. Colette will share technical and conceptual knowledge through lectures, demonstrations, guided field work, and individualized instruction. Emphasis will be placed on the ways pastel can encourage creative development in your chosen imagery. This workshop is designed for students with experience in the medium.
