The Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania has selected artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin for inclusion in the 23rd Craft Forms 2017 International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes: Contaminated Water #9: Through the Ice.
This international exhibition is dedicated to enhancing the public’s awareness of contemporary craft. The exhibit was open to all craft media including: clay, fiber, quilt, glass, metal, jewelry, wood, 3D printing, and mixed media crafts. 108 artworks were selected from the pool of 780 submissions from across the world by exhibition juror Nora Atkinson, the Lloyd Herman Curator of Craft of the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
The exhibition opens in the Davenport Gallery at the Wayne Art Center on December 8, 2017 with a Preview Party from 6 to 10pm and a Juror’s Lecture and Meet the Artists December 9, 2017 from 1 to 3pm. The exhibit is open through January 27, 2018. The address of the art center is:
